Chase Slate Balance Transfer Offer

Chase has some great balance transfer offers available at the moment.

One such offer is the “Chase Slate” credit card, which comes with 0% APR on balance transfers for a full 15 months, assuming you have good/excellent credit.

The same goes for purchases! And there is no annual fee with the Chase Slate credit card.

The balance transfer fee is 3%, which is pretty much as low as it gets at the moment, now that Discover ended its no fee balance transfer offer.

However, the company is currently offering a $75 statement credit after making $300 in qualifying transactions within the first three months of account opening. And balance transfers count! So if you transfer at least $300, you’ll get $75 back, which could fully or partially offset the balance transfer fee.

Let’s look at an example of the possible savings:

Credit card balance: $2,500
Credit card APR: 19.99%
Balance transfer APR: 0% for 15 months
Balance transfer fee: 3%

If you leave the credit card debt on your high interest rate credit card, you’ll be paying roughly $42 a month in credit card finance charges, or $500 annually.

Assuming you move that $2,500 credit card balance to the Chase Slate card and take advantage of their balance transfer offer, you’ll pay $75 in the way of balance transfer fees, but save a ton by avoiding interest charges.

So if you’re in a situation like this, it might make a lot sense to transfer that credit card balance.

Aside from the great balance transfer offer, Chase Slate comes with the so-called Blueprint technology, which is designed to help card holders pay down balances faster.

In summary, Chase Slate offers:

- 0% APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers (longest available from Chase!)
- No annual fee
- $75 statement credit after after making $300 in qualifying transactions within the first three months of account opening
- Blueprint technology
- Balance transfer fee of 3%, with a minimum of $5

Apply here if the credit card interests you (offer expired).
